I always like to take as many days to celebrate my birthday as possible. It's rubbed off on a few family members, and Gary has learned his lesson well.
We started on Saturday with Judi and kids with pizza...
...cake and homemade ice cream...
...and cards and gifts.
Blowing out 71 candles is a big job for an old man, so he needed moral support.
Then Wednesday night on his real birthday we had some friends over for Mexican dinner...
...more cake and ice cream...
...and he blew it again.
He had two special gifts on his birthday...the first snowfall of the season,
...and our once-a-season hibiscus bloom. Mother Nature was a little confused, but kind.
