High Priests and Young Women were in charge of the ward Valentine party last Friday night....so you know who that means did most of the work. It was fun, fun, fun.
The men stood up and sang "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" to their wives although some of them had never heard of it until that night. They did a fine job.
You've heard of playing BINGO at church...well, this was the Mormon version. We had everyone sign in then gave them blank BINGO cards (no charge) to have people sign in the squares.
Then my lovely assistant called out the names and people marked their cards with candy hearts. Candy prizes were given for the first 5 BINGO winners, then they wanted to go to "blackout"...crazy Mormon BINGO players.
Then on Sunday night Judi and the kids came over for our annual Valentine dinner.
Just about every food was heart-shaped, but not necessarily heart-healthy. Yeah, we pigged out.
Then on Tuesday night we went to Harrison's Blue and Gold Banquet. More good food.
Here's the cake Harrison decorated for the cake contest...kid's got a one-track mind.
Getting his cub scout awards for which we gave scout cheers: "around of applause," "watermelon" and others. Then he pinned his mom.
Now it's back to the
diet, diet, diet.
