THANKSGIVING IN HOUSTON

After all that food on the cruise, we came back to another week of feasting. Part of it was for Thanksgiving, but the rest was just the habit of eating everything in sight. Needless to say we have put on some weight which probably won't come off now until after New Years.

Here are the table preparations for our Thanksgiving meal...best dishes and handmade placecards.

Here's the dinner laid out in the order which was specified by Ron who has never outgrown lining things up according to his perfectly orderly brain. :0) Notice the two pans of stuffing. One is Gary's recipe and the colorful one is Ron's traditional surprise creation which actually was very tasty.

Ron also makes a selection of pumpkin pies, two of which have secret ingredients. Notice how he dares us to try and guess. "Come and get it." "But where will we put it? We have no more room." Somehow we managed. Of course Danielle did the major portion of the food prep. As usual the mom works behind the scenes.

What a fun day!
