Ward Halloween Party

Koreans don't know much about Halloween. They learn from the American missionaries (see the APs and Office Elders above) and they love it! The adults were more excited than the children. We played a "fruit basket upset" type game as witches, ghosts, cats, and pumpkins, bobbed for apples, had face painting by Sister Avery and the slime booth (feeling worms, brains, eyeballs, and a cold clammy hand.) Then they went trick-or-treating for American candy (which they don't always like) from room to room. There were kids AND adults going around with their heads up eating sugar powder from a pixie stick. They were still talking about it at church Sunday. For being a last minute effort, it was a BIG success!!
