AUSTIN'S BAPTISM

Going to Austin's baptism was a real blessing for us since it took place right after my last chemo infusion and I was not feeling my best. However, I did just fine and it turned out to be a good day.

Here is one of the sweetest kids you'll ever find...all done playing soccer for the day and ready to go be baptized on the day after his 8th birthday.

Reading his birthday-baptism card...

...opening his gift.

Over at the church, dressed and ready to go.

Dad's ready also. What a blessing that his dad holds the Priesthood and can perform the ordinances.

Here we are so proud of this little boy...

...and his dad...our boy.

Here he's surrounded by his wonderful family.

Other guests included Grandpa Turner,

Grandma Chris,

Aunt Pam, Uncle Jay. and Nick.

They needed his mom's talents for reverence music.

(Redden gives him a piggy-back.) He ain't heavy; he's my brother.

Home now...time for dinner with the family.

A great blessing in our lives is that our children are teaching their children the Gospel. There is nothing more important than family.
