THE BEST REUNION EVER:Food

One of our first plans was to have a pop dispenser from which to serve root beer, 7 UP, and Gary's all time favorite (only available in Utah) APPLE BEER. Big disappointment. The Apple Beer was not premixed for the dispenser, so we resorted to mixing our own. BIG HIT!

Here's Gary enjoying his Apple Beer. The fingers??? Well, that's a story in and of itself! He cut 3 fingers on his table saw the first day of the reunion (June 26) while people were in route. I sped him to the ER where they wrapped him and drugged him. He had surgery later in the week where they stuck pins in his fingers to hold them together. He had lost quite a bit of bone in one. I will spare you the X-Rays. He is without the use of his left hand for several more weeks.

He's still eating and drinking!

Judi at the BBQ.

Jessi looking cute at whatever she does.

Keith at the BBQ.

Lunch is served. Most of the food prep was done by the daughters and daughters-in-law this week since the whole reunion was especially for me. What a blessing!! They were wonderful.

This week we had more food than we've ever dreamed of in our home at one time. It's always Gary's goal that we have plenty of food for company. We had to buy an old refrigerator and put it in the garage to take care of the overflow.

The boys...

The girls...

Brianne picked berries from the garden and made a Mickey arrangement for her mom and me.
Clever!
