A Christmas season weekend

One of the reasons we came to Eastern Washington was to enjoy 4 seasons. Our first winter last year did not measure up to our expectations, but this year seems more of what we anticipated as normal.

This was only the beginning of an entire Saturday of snowfall...

... and ultimately measured out at about 4 inches...perfect hot tub weather.

Ice skating, anyone?

Today's projects included placemats for next week's Christmas dinner and some secret Christmas planning.

These specimans started in the front yard and worked their way around back before becoming life-size under the hands of Corinne and Natalee.

Here are "Grandpa" and "Grandma"...truly lifelike and about the right holiday shape.

We are SO loved.
