LAST WEEK

Natalee's school had a history "fair" where each child represented someone from American History. She did a great job of impersonating Phyllis Wheatly who was the first African American slave to have published poetry. Adopted by her master, she was educated and free to travel frequently to London. This is a little out of character for Natalee as she is nobody's slave. She definitely has a mind of her own. : )

WHICH ONE IS THE REAL PUMPKIN?
Among the other Halloween decorations, the most popular was Mickey pumpkin, posing here beside his cousin from our garden.
Now this is probably the last of the canning...chunky sauce from free apples. Yum!
