I was looking forward to last weekend and all the things we were planning to do that I would photograph. What happened!!!!!? We were having so much fun I forgot to take many pictures! So I ask you to use your imagination.
First of all you will notice that in the background is the hot tub with windproofing. Three of the four hooks holding down the lid are broken, thanks to the Eastern Washington spring winds. We now hold down the lid with a 4 by 4 and cinder blocks. We have picked up our hot tub lid from the yard along with the BBQ cover, and the fire pit cover made it over the fence to the neighbors' while we were on vacation. So imagine the lid off and the steam coming up from Judi's family and us in the hot tub on Friday night.
Next just imagine us roasting marshmallows for S'Mores over the fire pit (which is exactly like Rich's "best gift ever.") We stuffed ourselves at the ward Luau then came home and ate "s'more."

Saturday was a flurry of activity, as you can see. Actually we did stuff all morning then finally vegged in front of the TV before our guests arrived.

My kids will remember James. He was baptized as a senior in high school and was "part of our family" for that entire year. He and Sherry and their two boys came for dinner and games on Saturday evening, and we had a great time. James is a fun guy, and he does have hair. This "do" was an experiment. Corinne and Natalee think of James exactly like the look you see on Corinne's face in this picture.

We couldn't stop laughing all evening! Our game of choice was super dominoes (361 to the set) and although dominoes isn't usually hilarious, it was that night. All 10 of us played.

We served up in the kitchen, cooked on Gary's new toy (every man's dream) and ate on the deck. And the BBQ is hooked up to natural gas so we don't use propane anymore. If Rich will bring us back our gas can we will give him our propane tank. ;0)

Some people never do grow up and get serious...Sherry is a Saint! Seriously, we are proud of James' devotion to the Church and the way he has lived his life since we saw him accept the Gospel and enter the waters of baptism, serve a mission, and marry in the temple.
